中国杯2017

待ちに待った中国杯。いってまいりました！

現地には日本からケヴィンファンの方が大集結していたようで、私も何人かにお会いでき、とてもお世話になりました。

北京のお客さんのマナーは聞いていたとおりいろいろアレな面もありましたが、
失敗した選手も含めどの選手の演技にも温かかったのが印象的でした。

いいジャンプの跡に「好！（いいぞ！）」と声が上がったり、
アットホームな雰囲気の大会でした。

ダンス、ペア、女子が神大会で、本当に行って良かったと思います。

なんと久しぶりの白モーニン！　見た目年齢変わってない😊

私はモーニンの次のシーズンから男子を見始めたので、生モーニン見られて嬉しいです。

演技は…6分間練習の時からジャンプがシェーキーで、
本番もやはり…コンボ抜けがとても辛い…。4Tと3Aが一応回りきっていたのが救いですが。

何か身体が重いように感じられました。時差のせいなのか、はたまた他の原因なのか…。

ジャンプの問題などもあって、思い出のこのプログラムに戻したのかなと思いますが、
それが裏目に出てしまったような気もします。

ステップが２つある時代のプログラムなので、どうなるんだろうと思いましたがそのままでした。

私個人的には、モーニンももちろん大好きですが、やっぱりwhiprushがあまりにも神プログラムなので見たいな～と思いました。難しいのかな…。

6分間練習の時から、ジャンプの調子が昨日と全然違うのが分かりました。

冒頭1Loでその後がどうなるのかとハラハラしましたが、その後のジャンプはほぼ完璧（4S<-3Tと3F-3T-3lo<でしたが）。

SPから一晩の間に何があったんだろうと思うほど、別人のような滑り。

特に美しい3Lz-3Loにおおおおと声がでました。ルッツ苦手じゃなかったんかい！

セカンド3Lo大好きだ！！

ジャンプがずっとハマらなかった今シーズン。

ようやくほっとした笑顔が見られたことが嬉しいです。

次のスケアメ、そしてナショナルに向けて、いいステップの大会になったのではないかと思います😊💛

Kevin Reynolds of Coquitlam, B.C., moved from 10th to eighth with the seventh best long. “The free program was more of an indication of how I’ve been practicing,” said Reynolds. “It’s been going very well in training but just a bit disappointed today with my opening loop attempt in competition.”

クワドループも練習ではうまく行っているそうで、安心しました。

Kevin Reynolds of Canada: Kevin is kind of known for his costumes. For his Short Program to Moanin' by Art Blakey, however, there was really none--except for a white dress shirt, a bold blue tie, black pants and...OH GOD WHAT IS THAT BELT???!!!! I cannot believe he fell for the dreaded Male Figure Skater Ross Dress For Less 90's Belt Virus!!! I think I owned that belt...in 1994. Please Kevin, give it to Out of the Closet! ASAP! 

Free Skate to The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace by Karl Jenkins--For his Free Skate, Kevin was more on his comfortable "Costume Territory" and as a fan of Figure Skating and Figure Skating Costumes...I liked this! I liked all the detail of the jacket--especially those epaulets and gold embroidery. It also fit him quite nice and worked with the music. I know that maybe he looked a teeny bit too much like "The Nutcracker" Prince but hey, I'll take that over a 1994-like Ross Dress For Less belt ANY DAY!
