３A以上の全部のジャンプに＜が…。台湾解説は「質の良いジャンプでした！」と言ってくれたのですが、今回は回転不足厳しかったのかな…。後半の4TがRepになってしまったも惜しかったですね。

でも最後まであきらめず、リカバリーしつつ滑りきった姿勢と計算力は素晴らしかったです。

今回は悔しいキスクラでしたが、ワールドではいい演技ができますように！

 Kevin Reynolds (CAN), 2013 Four Continents Champion It was just a really tough opening to recover from the first two jumps especially. I think that it’s easier when things go well and definitely tougher when things don’t go well. Which each mistake it becomes harder and harder to come back, you lose your energy and you lose your focus. But I thought I did as well of a job as I could have, considering things. It was just a very disappointing performance. (on preparing for Worlds) I think I need to regroup a little bit with the training for the free program. It’s a minefield of technical difficulty that we have to do in the free program now and I have to reevaluate how best to prepare.

He produced a strong second half after a difficult first couple of minutes. ‘’It was a tough opening to recover from,’’ said Reynolds. ‘’With each mistake you lose your energy and focus. But I thought I did as well as I could in the second half considering it was a disappointing performance.’’

Kevin Reynolds attempted four quads, but tripled the first one, a quad Salchow; underrotated and fell on the quad toe, did land a quad Salchow, but it was underrotated, and he also underrotated the second quad toe. He was assessed one fall. But the miscues (four underrotations) riddled his technical mark. He was 12th in the free and 12th overall.
Reynolds said it was tough mentally to overcome his rough opening, and then with each mistake, he got bogged down further. “You lose your energy and your focus,” he said. He’ll regroup for the world championships on his routine that is “a minefield of technical difficulty that we have to do in the free program now.”

ケヴィンは1;03ぐらいから、

「えーと、世界選手権に向けて全力で頑張ります。」
世界選手権に向けて前向きなコメントが嬉しいです。

それにしても発音がもう笑っちゃうくらいきれいで、

どうやったらこんなきれいな発音が身につくんだろうと思います。
つい何回もリピってしまう（←怪しい人）。

それに日本語力がまた伸びたなという感じがします。

日本選手3人の後に「世界選手権に向けて…」と始まり、

「あれ？日本人選手って4人いたっけ？」(・・)

ケヴィンの日本語のコメントは、Jスポの本放送では、

「今日はとても残念な演技でしたが、えーと、世界選手権に向けて全力で頑張ります。」  

だったそうです。

番宣ではコメントがずいぶん短いなと思っていましたが、

なるほど「残念な演技でした」は番宣じゃ流せないですね…。

日本語の前に英語でのコメントがあって、そちらの内容はこんな感じだそうです。
